Permit Restrictions
ALL modifications or additions need to be approved by either the Design Review Board (ADRB) or by Planning Staff
The building department will have to review detailed construction drawings in order to approve the project
The addition of an overhang, deck, or slab foundation would likely trigger a permit and need to be reviewed by the building department as well
Height and Setback Restrictions
Max height: generally 32 feet within the setback lines
Also needs to abide by the “Building Envelope”
If >22ft, subject to Story poles

20 feet from rear
25-30 feet from street front (dependent on the size of the road)
ADU RESTRICTIONS:
Zoning Restrictions
All single-family homes are permitted to have ADUs
All two-family homes are permitted to have ADUs
All multi-family homes are permitted to have ADUs

Side lot: 4 feet
Rear lot: 4 feet
Maximum height: 32 feet
Other Restrictions
Short-term rentals for < 30 days are not allowed
